ARTICLES & INTERVIEWSONCOURSE MAGAZINE…Danny Wallace is an ongoing writer for ONCOURSE MAGAZINE, the national youth publication for The Assemblies of God based in Springfield, Missouri. Look for Danny’s latest article in the Spring/Summer addition of ONCOURSE set to reach subscribers in April 2010 entitled, “No More Masks: Real Talk About Same-Sex Crushes.”So many teens within the church are struggling with the confusion of feelings and false information regarding same sex attraction. Many feel that they have no one to confide in without being judged or set apart as sinners or outcasts. Danny’s ongoing series of articles dealing with the real truth surrounding same sex attraction and the eventual bondage of homosexuality is bringing new light and revelation to the church, and especially to the its youth. YOU CAN LIVE AGAIN MAGAZINE…In January of 2010 Danny was interviewed via phone by a representative for YOU CAN LIVE AGAIN, an urban Christian Women’s magazine based in Dallas, Texas. This article covers the scope of Danny’s life story as recorded on his testimony cd, NO HARM DONE, and also detailed in his 2008 autobiography, MASKquerade, which is also the basis for the screenplay and movie in production about Danny’s life and also titled, MASKquerade. The magazine reaches into the African American community with the tough issues of the day. We are excited and honored to be a part of this publication.
DEVELOPING A FATHER’S HEARTIn 2010, Danny will be speaking at several churches on the subject of how we can develop the true heart of a father. He deals with not only our father/child relationship with God, but also the importance of strengthening the relationship between fathers and their children within the church today. There is so much in our society today that speaks to the weakening or in some cases the absolute dissolving of the father/child relationship that is so important in the family and the church. Divorce among evangelical Christians is happening at a rate three times higher than any group in the nation, and that includes Atheists. Families are not only be torn apart, leaving children confused and lonely in the aftermath, but even in those families where the father remains present there is a lack of real understanding as to the role God intended between a father and his children. Danny will continue to share his personal testimony from NO HARM DONE; however strengthening the hearts of fathers toward their children is a subject that has been passionate for this ministry from the very beginning. We look forward to the healing and power that will come from this series in 2010.

ENCOURAGEMENT CAMPAIGNThe following article ran in our last newsletter and to date, we haven’t received a single email saying, “I’m on board with this.” Perhaps the email connection at our website is vague. To make it easier for you we’re re-running it again and ask that you email your pledge to join us in this time of encouragement at:This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view itDanny Wallace Ministries feels strongly that God is calling the body of Christ to a focused campaign of encouragement for this New Year. This is far broader than simply encouraging our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ or only our immediate families. There is no doubt that a spirit and attitude of speaking blessings, support and encouragement to our base of influence with family and church is necessary and fundamental to where God wants to take us in 2010. But I believe this campaign must go much deeper and far more radical. We are calling on thousands to join with us in a pledge for this year that we will commit to pray for and speak blessings upon those we are don’t understand and many who even hate or despise what we believe as followers of Jesus Christ. For far too long the church has been weakened and mislead into conducting ourselves in a public manner that brings shame and disgrace upon the very ONE we love and follow as a way of standing up for what is right. Often times we are convinced by the enemy that to stand up as Christians we need to draw the sword of Peter and chop off the ear of those who offend or persecute us, much as Peter did to the Roman solider who came to arrest Jesus in the garden. This is not the heart of Christ, and it is doing nothing to bring power and revival to the church in America today. To the contrary, our influence is weak, as our hatred grows strong. Although we may not be using a literal sword, we often use every opportunity on facebook, myspace or in our personal conversations to slander, insult and speak all kinds of hatred and curses to everyone from the President of the United States, down to our neighbor across the street who doesn’t share our passion or beliefs. This is not the calling of God’s children and was never any part of the purpose and reason for His great sacrifice. Jesus died that ALL might come to know Him. He died for us all while we were yet the worst of sinners and He needs our focus on the heart of that mission to bring true revival to the church and freedom to the sinner today. We realize there might be many who read this and determine that they want no part of speaking blessings to those they don’t like or support. However, I believe there are MANY among us who will join with me in 2010 to simply stand by the words and actions of Jesus Christ as found in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, to say that we will repent of our hatred and bitterness, set aside any utterance of slander or divisiveness, and speak forth encouragement and blessings to all who cross our paths in 2010. I believe that this will not only make a tremendous difference in the world around us, but most importantly…it will make a difference in each of us. So, if you will join with Danny Wallace Ministries in making this pledge in 2010, please email us to let us know you are on board. Please send us future testimonies about how God has used this floodgate of encouragement to change your situation and the situations of those around you.
